An analysis of Lewis' depiction of the character of Satan in his science fiction book, Perelandra. I point out the strong parallels of his representation to that of multiple ancient religious texts from various cultures and world religions, and make the case that it is therefore more authentic.
The Divine Potential of Man

Written near the beginning of my full-time academic career, this essay is an early attempt to scratch the surface of several aspects of ancient vs modern Christian theology, particularly on the nature of God as a divine parent. It covers scholarship on early Christian writers and touches on topics of theology important to adherents to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.


Gene Kelly: From Stage to Screen

As part of my Ballroom Dance minor, I took a class in history of dance. My final paper recognized one of my idols in the industry, Gene Kelly, and explored his background and how it allowed him to make such a unique contribution to the world through dance.
